“Revivals. Reconsidering the Past in Decorative Arts and Design”

 

O ICDAD – Comité Internacional do ICOM dos Museus e Coleções de Artes Decorativas e Design realiza a sua Conferência Anual entre 21 e 23 de Outubro de 2021, este ano em modo virtual.

 

“O tema da conferência é “Revivals”, ou seja “Revivalismos”: “Revivalismos” como o fenómeno sociocultural, que ocorreu diversas vezes ao longo da história universal, que procura resgatar princípios e tradições dos tempos passados. Nesta conferência, abordamos o termo “Revivalismos” no que diz respeito às Artes Decorativas e Design.” in: página eletrónica ICOM Portugal

 

A Casa-Museu vai estar presente na conferência  com uma comunicação proferida por Samantha Coleman, que incide no conjunto de objetos revivalistas Vienenses pertencentes à coleção: “The Viennese Enamel Revival Objects in the Medeiros e Almeida Collection” – 6ª feira, 22 Out,
